Showcase: render the future, in synthwave

"The year is now. The agents are driving. They need video, fast. Second Studio is the engine. One brief in, a finished film out. Hit the gas."

That is the whole script of Render the Future, one of our originals: short films that each tell the same story, an agent sends one brief and gets a finished video back, in a completely different style. This one is 80s synthwave outrun.

How we made it

Three generated images in one neon palette: a sports car on a glowing grid under a striped sunset, a neon city skyline, and a film projector floating over the city. The chrome headline type, the pink and cyan glow and the scanline overlay are all CSS on top, and the camera slowly pushes into each image on the beat. The end card is the wordmark in chrome italics over a purple to pink gradient.

The voice is a stock studio voice reading four short scenes, with on screen titles "the agents are driving", "they need video", "one brief in, film out", "hit the gas", and an end card that reads "render the future". Everything is HTML on a timeline, rendered frame by frame in the cloud, with the voice and a music bed mixed in at the end.
