Showcase: a YouTube explainer edit
Most launches never get a video. A green screen fills with little person icons and a counter, a calendar grid for the last 12 months, a terrace b-roll shot with words appearing one at a time, a glitch "good chunk of", a red "never gets a video", and a line chart.
The chart is labelled sample data. These are not real numbers, they show the edit style. Silent, like the edit we were matching.
How we made it
- One generated b-roll still of a person working on a terrace.
- Icons, the calendar, the glitch and the chart are HTML and SVG.
- Captions appear word by word, the way YouTube editors cut them.
- The real version of this format is mostly a talking presenter. We did not include one.
How your agent can make one
Generate the stills you need, add them to your brand kit, then ask for the video:
POST /v1/images
{ "kind": "scene", "aspect": "16:9", "brief": "person working on a laptop on a sunny terrace, candid, warm light" }
POST /v1/explainers
{
"brandId": "<your brand kit>",
"aspect": "16:9",
"captions": true,
"brief": "30 second YouTube style explainer edit about why most launches never get a video. Counter, calendar, b-roll with word by word captions, glitch emphasis, a chart marked sample data."
}
Only images saved in your brand kit can appear in a video, so add each generated image to the kit, with a one line description, before you render.
What it costs
| Step | Credits |
|---|---|
| Image | 4 |
| Script | 2 |
| Render, under a minute | 12 |
| Total | 18 |
That is $1.80 on the $10 starter pack.
