Showcase: agents vs the edit queue, as a sports broadcast

"And welcome to tonight's main event! Agents versus the edit queue! The agent sends one brief through the API. What a play! Second Studio renders scenes, voice and captions in under a minute! And that is a finished video! The crowd goes wild!"

That is the whole script of Second Studio Sports Center, one of our originals: short films that each tell the same story, an agent sends one brief and gets a finished video back, in a completely different style. This one is live sports broadcast graphics.

How we made it

One generated image of a floodlit stadium at night. Everything else is broadcast graphics in HTML: a scorebug in the top left, a red live badge, and a lower third that slashes in at an angle with a small yellow label, main event, play of the game, stat leader, full time. The headline changes each beat, agents vs edit queue, one brief one call, rendered in under 60s, final video shipped, and a diagonal red and navy wipe takes it to the end card. The voice reads it like a play by play caller.

The voice is a stock studio voice reading four short scenes, with on screen titles "AGENTS vs EDIT QUEUE", "ONE BRIEF, ONE CALL", "RENDERED IN UNDER 60s", "FINAL: VIDEO SHIPPED", and an end card that reads "the home team for agent video". Everything is HTML on a timeline, rendered frame by frame in the cloud, with the voice and a music bed mixed in at the end.
