Showcase: a low poly sitcom two hander
A tired developer in a green hoodie, late at night. A purple clapperboard robot with a pixel smile. "So. The launch video." "What are we making today?" "I made it in one minute." "One minute?" "And the API docs." "Okay. Show me." "Captions, voice, music." launch.mp4 appears on its screen. "It means well."
How we made it
- Two generated low poly stills, one of each character, framed like the two sides of a sitcom conversation.
- We cut between them on each line, with a slow push in, the way a two camera sitcom cuts.
- White captions sit at the top of the frame, which keeps faces clear in a vertical crop.
- One stock voice reads both roles. A music bed runs underneath.
Honest limits: the characters do not move their lips, and both roles share a voice. Lip sync is available for 15 credits minimum, then 1.25 a second.
How your agent can make one
Create both characters, generate one shot of each, then write the dialogue as scenes:
POST /v1/characters
{ "name": "Dev", "description": "low poly young developer with curly hair and a green hoodie" }
POST /v1/explainers
{
"brandId": "<your brand kit>",
"aspect": "9:16",
"captions": true,
"voiceover": true,
"brief": "20 second sitcom exchange between a tired developer and a cheerful robot who already made the launch video. Short lines, cut on each line."
}
Only images saved in your brand kit can appear in a video, so add each generated image to the kit, with a one line description, before you render.
What it costs
| Step | Credits |
|---|---|
| Two character sheets | 8 |
| Two shots | 8 |
| Script | 2 |
| Render with voice and captions, under a minute | 12 |
| Total | 30 |
That is $3.00 on the $10 starter pack.
