Showcase: a toy brick film lot that builds itself

A film lot made of toy bricks drops into place, piece by piece: a studio building, palm trees, an orange crew van with a camera on the roof. The camera pushes in on a little crew member holding a slate that reads POST /v1/videos, then pulls back out. A title card in the corner names each chapter of "The Crew and the Van".

How we made it

1. Two generated stills: the whole diorama and a close up of the crew at the van.
2. The build is the diorama cut into 144 tiles that drop in one after another with a small bounce.
3. Push ins and pans are scale and position moves on the stills.
4. The gap: there is no real 3D camera orbit, so it never shows the back of the set.
